Cristian Canton

Cristian Canton is the Engineering Head of Responsible AI at Meta. His research interests lie in the field of computer vision and adversarial machine learning. Cristian previously supported the Meta AI Red Team, which focuses on understanding weaknesses and vulnerabilities derived from the use (or misuse) of AI, related to misinformation and election interference. Previously at Facebook, he also managed teams related to the detection of the objectionable and harmful content domain. Prior to joining Meta, Cristian worked at Microsoft Research and Vicon. He received an MS from EPFL in Switzerland and a PhD from the Technical University of Catalonia in Barcelona.
